Myanmar crisis kills at least 50 in Kachin insurgent air strike

in Northern Myanmar Kachin province planes dropped three bombs on a concert held by the KIA in Kachin village

Local residents say they have not been warned of the air strike beforehand.

The concert was held to celebrate the 62nd anniversary of the Kachin Independence Army struggle

the four famous Kachin singers were among the victims of the attack.

Eyewitnesses said they heard three major explosions at about 8:30 pm on Sunday evening.

the army also prevented the wounded from being transported to the neighboring city of Hepkant for treatment after the attack.
